summer

is keeping me/us very busy. We have been away at summer youth camp this past week! I did find out I am going to be an aunt again...my newest SIL is having a baby! so happy for them!!!
I hope to really sit down and do a good post tonight after the girls go to bed and the boys are at baseball practice...
But, I will leave you with a funny story.
Piper spent the week at Missy's house with her and Tori while I was gone. They were playing dress up and they have those stick on ear rings(Tori's ears are not pierced). Piper comes out with a NOSE RING!!!! jUST LIKE HER MOMMY :O)
I love that girl!!!

Organizing & Meal Planning

I am getting ready to rearrange the living room-again. I like to change things around. But this time, I have some plans for things on the walls, so I am really excited!

The other thing I am working on is my Control Journal for my home..

I did find a really cool print out for grocery shopping here...

Lot's of things that I want to get done, but my motivation is lacking, so I am going to get off the computer and just do the living room, maybe that will spur me on to get done some to the organizing..I feel like I do this a lot, but we have a lot of stuff in this little apartment, so it is a constant thing! Have a good Friday!!!

Learning..

Sitting in the kitchen, doing my Bible study on Esther this morning. Gabi comes in with her sniffles, asking me to make her some Maltomeal, so I get up and am making it. She sits down at my Bible and starts talking about Moses and the commandments and well, the whole years worth of BSF. I just acted like I didn't hear her. Then, she picks up the Bible and says, "This is God's True Word children, right here is our verse for today in yellow, when I come to you, you can run your hand over the verse out of the Bible." and proceeds to walk about the kitchen to the 'children' in the chairs and even encourages them to touch. It was the sweetest moment.

I am so thankful for BSF and that God has allowed all of my children to be involved. What a blessing each of the children's leaders has been to us. Thank you to anyone, anywhere who is involved in BSF. The seeds being planted are too numerous to count. May God be glorified in your work.

sad day

This is what Logan did after about an hour on opening day. His eardrum had ruptured on Thursday evening and he can't swim until this after we go to the doctor this Thursday. He said he would play in the little pool with the girls, but he got bored and at this point he was crying. I did tell the other 4 that we would not be going back to the pool until Logan could participate. It was so sad. I had much mommy guilt over this one. Please pray that we get a good report on Thursday from Dr Walker(whom we love!) I am ready to hit the pool hard and heavy!!!
